Burgundy Events a display of power and wealth

Burgundy can be viewed as a color indicating power. The combination of it’s psychological seriousness and powerful energy give it a sense of high ambition. Therefore, people who are trying to display their power or wealthy class may use burgundy as a way to show these traits.



It's  a little more sophisticated, luxurious and reserved. It shows someone takes pride in their appearance. They more than likely want to be seen in a particular way which shows a strong interest in what others think of them. Social status is probably something they often think about and seek. They may want to be seen as rich, in a financial way and also rich in character. Appearance is important however it would suggest an introverted personality that seeks value in their time alone.

It could also show some unconventional thinking, a desire for being unique and to express themselves without seeking attention.

The color burgundy is similar to other shades of dark red such as maroon, cordovan, and oxblood, but differs from each of these in subtle ways.

The burgundy color was the most popular lipstick color among women in the 1990s and early 2000s.
It is also a popular lipstick shade with the people of the goth subculture. In recent years it has made a comeback as popular lip color in the high fashion industry.

The first recorded use of "burgundy" as a color name in English was in 1881. Burgundy in turn takes its name from the ancient Burgundians, a Germanic tribe.
